Why this journal exists, and what you'll find here.
When I was getting close to thirty, I started paying attention to recommendations. A friend's serum, a book someone pressed into my hands, a new way of starting the morning. Small things, mostly. But together they changed my day-to-day completely, and I grew more in those years than I expected to, inside and out.
For a long time I underestimated what looking after myself could actually do for me. I thought it was all about reading and being interesting. That matters too, it still does. But I learned that the way you care for yourself, your skin, your home, your evenings, your wardrobe, is not a distraction from the interesting life. It's part of it.
So this is where I keep it all: the things I love, the things I want, the things I swear by. I make it with a lot of care. Some of the links here are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy something. I always put the curation first and the link second, and nothing makes it onto these pages just because it pays.
